Humminbird 899 depth finder shows 1 ft depth when going faster than 15 mph

I’m sorry if this isn’t the correct area for posting this question.

I have a Humminbird 899 CI SI combo depth finder that displays 1 foot depth when I go faster than 15 mph.
When I drop down below 15 mph the correct depth is displayed.
I updated the software on the unit and still had the same problem.
I chatted with HB support and they said that the transducer might be loose, but I haven’t had time to check that yet.
I’ll check it the next time I got out.

Has anyone else ever run into this problem with their depth finder?
