Fished Lake Austin from 7-9;30 pm yesterday trying to find some sort of pattern. Fishing basically sucked, but did manage to catch a few on jigs and cranks deep. Caught one on “Parks and Wildlife - Brush Pile Number 6” (some unknown creek mouth ledge :secret:). While removing my hook after a skull crushing hook set, I noticed about 15" of line streaming out of its throat. I gave it a little tug and a Zoom Brush Hawg “glurped” right up. Bass was released so she could break someone else off on Wednesday. That way they can tell stories about the one that got away at the CP weigh in.
