Saw the storm coming in after work Thursday and ran over. Caught a nice largemouth (a little over 13") on a double willow (gold and silver) spinnerbait, pearl white mini fluke trailer.

Went back out this morning, but immediately knew it would be tougher. Wind was kicked up, and the water was choppy. We usually see great topwater action going on there early AM, but there was nothing.
Finally about 9:30am, I switched to a double painted (bright yellow and orange) spinnerbait, and got two within a few minutes of each other. One was a real nice looking spotted bass!

Tried dropshots and other lures, but never really saw any action on anything but spinnerbaits (what I’ve been seeing on LT that last week or two).
