Bought a Yak at BassPro went out Sunday for the first time. Got there before first light. Threw a top water frog till light no bites. Switched to T-rigged Zoom Trick Worm color June Bug. This is my go to bait. Threw in to grass in middle. Man that stuff is thick. Then headed to NW bank parallel to the houses. Good bite but didn’t land it. Then boated one and lost one cut my mono on the rocks. Caught the bass about 815am. Nothing else that day. Went out Monday now with th 15# braid after work headed back to same NW bank. Caught 3. Once I threw towards that drainage pipe BOOM bass hit immediately. Only about r 4-5’ deep there.
