Fished LBJ with Treys parents. We fished mid lake brush piles in 16-25 FOW with jigs and minnows. They ended up with 29 crappie up to 14 ¼ inches. Ken caught the longest crappie of the year on LBJ and it went 1.47 lbs. If that crappie was caught in the spring it might sniff 2 lbs. The bite was really light today. They were hard to catch hanging deep in the brush. A bonus was a few nice eating size channel/blue cats and a nice bream. Had a blast with these two. Treys mom Chris is a heck of a fisherwoman. She watched her pole like a hawk on a rabbit, nothing got by her. They both did awesome with the finicky/light bite. Good times!!
